Does it hurt?
Most people feel nothing at all. A few get a short twinge partway through a round under the lamp, and it is gone before they leave. We put a hydration product on before, during and after, which is the reason sensitivity complaints have not come up.
Is LED whitening safe?
Yes, for the right person. Whoever does your session at ProElite Aesthetics in Saskatoon is a certified whitening technician with more than fifty whitenings behind them, and we screen before we start. Everything that touches you is single use. Anyone with gum or nerve trouble gets turned away rather than whitened.
Who should not get whitening?
Whitening is not for everyone. We turn away anyone pregnant, anyone under 16, and anyone with damaged nerves, gingivitis or a receding gum line. If you have had a filling, a root canal or any dental surgery in the last three or four months, wait until you have healed and then book.
Will my teeth be sensitive afterwards?
So far nobody has called us about it. A hydration product goes on before the session, during it and after, which is what keeps the sting out of the rounds under the lamp. If cold drinks already bother your teeth, tell us at the chair and we will work around it.
Is everything clean?
Everything that touches you gets used once and thrown out, so nothing carries over to the next client. That is the same at the Millar Ave studio and at your place.
How long does it take?
About 45 minutes: two 15-minute rounds plus setup.
How long does it last?
That depends on what you drink and whether you smoke. Coffee, red wine and tobacco pull the colour back fastest. We tell clients to plan on a refresh every three months to hold the shade, and returning clients pay 15% less. There is no expiry date on the treatment itself.
What should I avoid afterwards?
For the first day or two, skip anything that would stain a white shirt: coffee, red wine, tomato sauce, curry, smoking.
Can you come to me?
Yes, in Saskatoon and area. Mobile whitening is $300, the same session at your place.
Are tooth gems safe?
Yes, when it is done properly. The gem is a lead-free crystal bonded to the front of the tooth with the same dental-grade adhesive used for braces. No drilling, no holes in the enamel. It comes off with a quick polish when you want it gone, and it can last from a few months to a year. Ask us anything about it before you book.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations inside 24 hours are charged $50.

What does it cost?
Whitening is $200 at the studio or $300 at your place. The brightening boost is $25 on top. Tooth gems are $50, extra gems $15 each. Whitening and a gem in one visit is $225.
Can I add the boost on the day?
Yes. It is a third round under the lamp, decided at the chair. No need to book it ahead.
Do you do groups?
Yes. Bridal parties, teams and events are quoted by email at hello@proeliteaesthetics.com.
Where is the studio?
104-2834 Millar Ave, Saskatoon. Appointments run 8am to 8pm.
When does Kelowna open?
