Privacy policy

ProElite Aesthetics is a teeth whitening and tooth gem studio in Saskatoon. This page explains what we collect about you, what we do with it, and who else sees it. We follow Canada's federal privacy law for businesses (PIPEDA) and Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) for texts and emails.

What we collect

When you book. Bookings go through Square Appointments. Square collects your name, phone number, email and the appointment you picked. If Square asks for a card, the card number goes to Square only. We never see or store it.

When you use our contact form. We get the name, phone number, email and message you type in, plus whether you ticked the box agreeing to hear from us.

When you fill in our after-visit survey. We get your birthday, the star rating you gave your visit and any feedback you write. The link we text you carries your phone number so your answers attach to your file.

At your appointment. Before whitening we ask a few quick health questions, like tooth sensitivity or recent dental work, so we know the treatment is safe for you. We may note your starting and finishing shade.

When you message us. Texts, calls and Instagram messages you send us are kept with your contact record so anyone on our team can pick up the conversation.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, may set a short-lived security cookie that blocks bots.

Why we use it

• To book, confirm, remind you about and carry out your appointment.
• To answer your questions.
• To ask how your visit went and, if you liked it, point you to our Google reviews.
• To text you a touch-up reminder about three months after a whitening session.
• To send you a birthday gift, if you gave us your birthday.
• To send offers, only if you agreed to receive them.

We never sell your information.

Texts and emails

We send appointment texts because you booked with us. Offers and birthday messages only go to people who agreed to them. Every text lets you reply STOP to opt out, and HELP for help. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Opting out of offers does not cancel your appointments.

Who else handles it

A few companies store or process information for us. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job:

• Square for bookings, payments and appointment reminders.
• HighLevel for our client list, texting, the contact form and the survey.
• Google Workspace for email.
• Cloudflare to host and protect this website.
• Instagram (Meta) if you message us there.

Some of these companies store data on servers in the United States. That means it can be subject to US law while it sits there. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your client record while you are a client and for up to five years after your last visit, then delete it. Payment records are kept longer when tax law requires it. You can ask us to delete your record sooner.

Your choices

You can ask to see what we have on file about you, fix anything that is wrong, or have it deleted. You can also withdraw any consent you gave. Email hello@proeliteaesthetics.com or text 639-638-6027 and we will reply within 30 days.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Keeping it safe

Our accounts use strong passwords and two-step sign-in, and only the people who run the studio can open your record. No system is perfect. If a breach puts you at risk, we will tell you.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
